Arizona Cardinals reduce roster by 17 to get to 53

The Arizona Cardinals trimmed their roster on Tuesday as they announced the release of 15 players, while placing one on retirement/reserved list and coming to an injury settlement with another to get to 53 on their roster.

Here are the final 17 moves from the team:

Wide receiver Andre Baccellia

Safety Chris Banjo

Wide receiver Greg Dortch

Linebacker Kylie Fitts

Offensive lineman Sean Harlow

Defensive lineman Margus Hunt

Offensive lineman Koda Martin

Defensive lineman Josh Mauro

Tight end Bernhard Seikovits

Tight end Ross Travis

Linebacker Reggie Walker

Cornerback Jace Whittaker

Safety James Wiggins

Safety Shawn Williams

Cornerback Daryl Worley

In addition, the team has placed cornerback Malcolm Butler on the reserve/retired list and has waived/injured offensive lineman Marcus Henry.

With the 10 moves yesterday the Cardinals are at 51 while they wait on Justin Pugh and Robert Alford to come off the Covid-19 list… But they should be at 53 soon.
