American R&B star R. Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in prison by a US District Judge on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, for sexually abusing women, underage girls and boys for decades.

The 55-year-old Grammy winner, who prosecutors said used his fame to exploit his victims, has had tons of allegations levied against him over the years. These allegations date back to the beginning of his career, with many based on his sexual abuse of teenage girls.
